Does QPM guarantee its work?
Yes — our work is guaranteed for your satisfaction.
The guarantee/warrantee on work performed by QPM is
for one year from the “Substantial Completion” of the project.
Substantial Completion is an agreed-upon date when 90 percent of
the project is complete.
What's the difference between project management and general contracting?
Project Managers like QPM manage the entire project for you,
our client. This means that we oversee the general contractor
or construction manager. In general contracting, you are hiring
a complete construction crew and have no direct contact with
the subcontractors. Project management offers more flexibility

What are the benefits of hiring union contractors vs. non-union contractors?
Union contractors, while sometimes more expensive, are generally
more experienced than non-union contractors. On the other hand,
non-union contractors are generally less expensive and can offer
more versatility as they do not adhere to often strict union
guidelines. QPM employs both union and non-union contractors,
giving you the freedom to choose what works best for your project.

What cities does QPM serve?
At present, QPM services the west Toronto area,
including Etobicoke, Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, Milton,
Georgetown and Burlington. We will venture out of that area
on occasion, but only on a referral basis.
What kind of projects will QPM take on?

How do I schedule an appointment?
Simply give us a call at (905) 821-8192 and leave us a message.
One of our friendly customer service representatives will call
you back to discuss your needs and schedule and appointment accordingly.
How quickly can QPM come out?
Typically, we can arrive within 24 hours of your call.
Who will come to my house to do the work?
All initial appointments are completed by QPM President,
John Schrempf. John will quote the work to be completed and
when the project has been approved, we will schedule the work
to be completed by our staff. QPM employees will arrive
at your home wearing QPM shirts to identify themselves.
We carefully screen all of our staff before hiring to ensure
that they possess the required level of skill and experience.

Do you offer round-the-clock service?
Our usual service hours are 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. We also work on Saturday mornings.
Will I have to sit around all day waiting for QPM to show up?
No — absolutely not! QPM understands how valuable your
time is so you tell US when to come, and we'll be there. No waiting for a
“window” of time that interferes with your day!
How can I pay?
Payment can be made by cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard or American
Express — we are pleased to accept most major credit cards.
Payment is made when the service is complete and you are happy with the results.
Does QPM guarantee its work?
Yes — our work is guaranteed for your satisfaction for 30 days
from the date of completion. We guarantee materials and labour on
materials purchased by QPM, and labour only when you purchase materials.
Is there a home renovation season?
Most exterior home improvement or home renovation projects are
completed from mid-spring to mid-fall, as the snowy winter weather
can make construction difficult. When considering a home improvement
or renovation project, however, there are many steps involved,
so it's best to start planning during the winter months to make
the project as stress-free as possible.

Do you offer round-the-clock service?
Yes — we are pleased to offer leading HVAC maintenance
service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just give us a call at
(905) 828-2020. Your call will be answered by one of our friendly
customer service representatives, who will page a technician
for you.
Does ICS-Intelligent Comfort Solutions
guarantee its work?
Yes — our work is guaranteed for your satisfaction. However,
there are some restrictions. Our work is guaranteed as follows:
- Fixed price project work is guaranteed for one year from date
of completion.
- Hourly service repairs are guaranteed for 30 days from the
completion date.
- Preventive Maintenance contracts are guaranteed as follows:
- Premium Service Plus - HVAC
equipment is guaranteed completely. If a unit breaks down,
ICS-Intelligent Comfort Solutions will cover the cost under
the contract.
- Premium Service - HVAC equipment is
guaranteed as with the Premium Service Plus
program, but does not include non-maintainable
parts such as heat exchangers, coils and outside cabinets.
- Deluxe Service/ Essential Service -
ICS-Intelligent Comfort Solutions performs maintenance and
repairs are chargeable.
Why should I service my HVAC equipment
when it seems to be working just fine?
Most heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment
has a life of approximately 15 years - but HVAC equipment maintained
beyond the manufacturer's requirements could last for 25 years
or more. Preventative HVAC maintenance, which can include lubrication,
cleaning, adjusting and minor component replacement is designed
to improve equipment life and avoid any unplanned maintenance
activity, lower utility bills and create better comfort and
improved health for the building occupants. For more information

How often should I have my HVAC equipment
serviced?
The minimum servicing of commercial HVAC equipment is four times
per year. This may be adjusted depending on the location of
the building, the type of business within the building and the
working times of the equipment and the business.
