Are Your Bathrooms Hurting Your Business?

You operate three franchise restaurants.  You’ve always been successful.  But business has steadily declined over the past ten years.  You provide great food at fair prices, and your dining area is clean, comfortable, and stylish.  So what’s the problem?  Your bathrooms are a time-warp. Alienating Paying Customers Quality Project Management has renovated many office and bathroom facilities for great franchise and independent restaurants in the greater Toronto and Barrie areas for over twenty years. We know from first-hand experience that eateries with ugly or even unsanitary bathrooms—with old sinks and mirrors, cracked tiles and grout, and old plumbing and lighting fixtures—alienate paying customers. The Dining Experience Part of the overall dining experience is to use all of a restaurant’s facilities—without shuddering.  Patrons want to feel good when they sit down to eat.  They don’t want to feel that they need to hand-sanitize at their tables after washing their hands in your bathrooms. The ROI of Bathrooms It’s one of the best returns on investment that restaurant owners can make, yet few carefully consider the implications of their un-renovated bathrooms.  The bathrooms are out of sight, and so therefore largely out of mind. Patrons feel that if a bathroom isn’t renovated and are potentially unsanitary, then the kitchen may also be this way.  It’s money well spent to clean up the bathrooms.  After all, it’s unlikely patrons will return to your establishment if your bathrooms are unattractive. >> Quality Project Management specializes in niche commercial renovations and remodelling, like restaurant bathrooms, in the greater Toronto and Barrie areas.  Contact us today for a friendly, honest, and professional...

How Restroom Renovations Lead to Cleaner Washrooms and Cost Savings

Washroom facilities can make or break a commercial space. It’s important for businesses to renovate restrooms often to avoid losing out on customers or prospects. Restaurants with unattractive washrooms face the toughest critics, but retail establishments and office buildings need to update restrooms frequently as well. Owners of mixed-use buildings with shared washrooms need to keep the facilities clean and updated to attract and retain multiple tenants. Companies that occupy a full floor in high rise office towers have the responsibility to renovate restrooms to keep their employees happy. In addition to keeping your office or commercial space fresh and new, these are some of the benefits you can enjoy from your washroom upgrade. Minimized Germ Exposure from Hands Free Fixtures Renovating washrooms is a great way to update the fixtures, dispensers, and toilets to hands-free technology. Automated faucets and soap and towel dispensers improve sanitation and minimize contact with germs. These fixtures in office buildings or restaurant are attractive to potential tenants because they improve the customer dining experience for restaurants and reduce employee sick days in offices. Less Mess and Easy Cleaning Adding fast foam soap dispensers and handle-free faucets will significantly decrease the countertop mess in your restrooms. Additionally, new trends in minimal design and clean lines make cleaning quicker, and more efficient than ever. Some options for easy floor cleaning include: stalls that are attached to the ceiling, toilets designed to attach to the wall, and flooring and wall coverings that offer better resistance to grime than ceramic tiles. You can incorporate these improved fixtures and materials into your new design and tackle the problem...

Project Feature: Updated Washroom Renovation for a Mississauga Office

The renovation work we do at QPM varies from client to client. We often renovate full office floors when our client represents an organization or a corporate location, but we also complete renovation projects for the owners of industrial buildings or commercial properties with multiple rental units. Renovation Project Details One of our latest construction projects was a washroom facility remodel for a commercial building at 10 Kingsbridge Garden Circle, Mississauga. Our client, Lisgar Developments, owns and operates commercial properties throughout Oakville and Mississauga. The shared public washrooms in the multi-tenant building were outdated and the client wanted to update the washroom facilities and give it a contemporary look to attract tenants and fill vacant office spaces. Restroom Renovation Work We were contacted by Lisgar to carry out the construction work and project management. We gutted the existing washroom including sinks, toilets, and fixtures. We scheduled and managed a team of roughly 10 contractors including plumbers, electricians, drywall installers, tile fitters, painters, and finishers. New Updated Look The team replaced the dry wall and installed attractive new wall coverings.  Plumbers updated and reworked the plumbing and installed new sinks with hands free tap sensors. We also installed new toilets and hands free hand dryers.
